Kerryn Batten, Executive Director


Kerryn commenced her professional career with the federal Department of Finance in Canberra before moving back to Western Australia to join its Treasury dpartment.


She subsequently built on her skills and experience in a career that includes risk and governance consulting with KPMG, National Head of Risk for Wesfarmers Federation Insurance and Principal Analyst with the financial services regulator, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). She has been a successful executive leader of corporate services functions including finance, HR, IT, procurementand strategy, across local and state governments.


Most recently prior to Hall Advisory, Kerry has held executive leadership roles with the Northern Territory Government and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.


Kerryn is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants (FCA), a Fellow of FINSIA (FFin) and a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course and Board Mastery Course (GAICD).


Kerryn currently lives on the mid north coast of New South Wales and travels regularly to Perth and Darwin. Kerryn has two sons, both active in their communities, a daughter in law and gorgeous young grandson. She stays physically active by among other things, playing golf (badly) and pilates, and has an interest in politics and economics, which drives a lot of reading in her spare time.
