Natasha Quirk


Managing Director

Natasha is the founder of Hall Advisory and leads our governance, risk, compliance and strategy consulting practice.


Natasha has 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, with extensive technical knowledge and practical expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance. Prior to establishing Hall Advisory, Natasha worked in a variety of corporate roles, including positions at KPMG Australia, S&P Global Ratings, APRA and ANZ.


Natasha is experienced across all sectors in financial services, including insurance, superannuation, banking and finance, financial advice, investments, credit ratings and financial analytics. Natasha is appointed to the Risk Management Faculty Advisory Board of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Natasha holds an MBA (Executive), Master of Applied Finance, Master of Insurance and Risk Management, Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) and certification as a Professional Risk Manager (PRM). Natasha has also successfully completed the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) Financial Adviser Exam.

Natasha is a Fellow and Certified Insurance Professional (Fellow CIP) of ANZIIF, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and a Sustaining Member of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA). 


Liz Nguyen


Associate Director

Liz has 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, specialising in governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and compliance.


At Hall Advisory, Liz consults broadly across the financial services sector on a wide range of engagements. Liz is our subject matter expert on governance, board performance, risk culture and APRA compliance.

Prior to joining Hall Advisory, Liz was appointed as a frontline supervisor at APRA with responsibilities for a portfolio of complex superannuation funds, including large industry funds and independent trustees with a number of funds under trusteeship.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) and a Certificate IV in Superannuation (ASFA 100).


Tom Sammann


Associate Director

Tom has 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, with practical experience across financial advising, compliance, governance, finance and group insurances.

Prior to joining Hall Advisory, Tom was appointed as a Responsible Manager, Head of Corporate Services, Insurance Committee Member and Acting CRO at Catholic Super (Togethr Trustees). Prior to Catholic Super, Tom held a number of corporate roles, including positions at AMP and EY.

Tom’s areas of specialisation include regulatory compliance and risk management across superannuation, financial planning and insurance. Tom is our subject matter expert in financial advice, Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) compliance, operations and finance.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Financial Planning Specialist) and a Graduate Diploma of Organisational Leadership with the Melbourne Business School. Tom has also successfully completed the FASEA Financial Adviser Exam.

Kate Moore-Wilton

Associate Director

Kate has 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, specialising in the implementation and maturity of governance, risk and compliance frameworks. 


Prior to joining Hall Advisory, Kate worked in a number of sectors across the financial services industry including life and general insurance, private health insurance, managed investments and superannuation. Kate has held positions in various small to large companies including Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance and Westpac. 


Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Economic History) and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with FINSIA.

Adam Taxakis

Associate Director

Adam has more than 20 years of combined experience across financial and professional services. With over 10 years of experience in financial services, specialities include accounting and regulatory reporting policy, change management, compliance and assurance for various clients including Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions, Superannuation Funds, Insurance companies and Investment Managers.


In addition, Adam has more than 10 years of accounting and assurance experience in the area of treasury and financial instruments, across various industries including banking, utilities and financial services. Adam is an industry leader in technical accounting, financial reporting, and a subject matter expert in financial risk and management reporting.

Adam has held the role of Chair, Regulatory Affairs Working Group at the Australian Custodial Services Association (ACSA) for 3 years and is a continuing member of the working group. Most recently, Adam won the 2021 ACSA award in recognition of his outstanding individual contribution to the Association, wider industry and key stakeholders, highlighting his focus on positive change and his role in establishing strong relationships with regulatory bodies (ASIC, APRA and The Treasury).


Adam is a strong finance professional with highly regarded qualifications in accounting (Bachelor of Commerce and membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants) and finance (Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA and Certificate IV Custody and Financial Market Operations from Financial Education Professionals).
